Course Overview

Jazz Dance is a very popular, high-energy, modern dance-form incorporating styles that first emerged at the turn of the 20th century. The style has grown in popularity over the decades moving from dance halls to discos, traditional to contemporary. Students of all ages and abilities will develop an array of relevant techniques and skills before they perform in the showcase event in The National Theatre. Primary (Years 1+2) Mondays 5:15 – 6:15pm
10-week term fees $305

Jazz
Pre-Junior (Years 3+4) Mondays 5:15 – 6:15pm
Junior (Years 5+6) Mondays 6:15 – 7:15pm
Intermediate (Years 7+8) Thursdays 5:45 – 6:45pm
10-week term fees $305

Senior (Years 9-12) Fridays 4:15 – 5:45pm
10-week term fees $380

Class Requirements 
Pre-Junior & Junior – 1 x class per week
Intermediate & Senior  must be enrolled in a minimum of 2 different dance style classes per week

Jackie Rae Lythgo - Head of Musical Theatre

Jackie Rae Lythgo is a triple threat performer who studied at the Victorian College of The Arts, The Johnny Young Talent School, Karen Stephens, and Dance Factory. As an actor, singer and dancer, Jackie Rae has worked with top Australian and international directors, musical directors, and choreographers in a career that spans corporate, commercial, TV, band, dance and theatre. Jackie teaches Jazz, Tap and Musical Theatre dance classes.
