Class Details
9:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Boys-Only Technique Class
Focus on male-specific ballet training, including:
• Strengthening
• Elevation
• Pirouette mastery
• Developing clean and powerful technique
10:45 AM – 11:45 AM: Male Variations Class
Dive into male repertoire from:
• Full-length classical ballets
• Selected choreography by renowned industry professionals
11:45 AM – 12:30 PM: Lunch Break
Recharge with a 45-minute break before our partnering session.
12:30 PM – 2:00 PM: Partnering Ballet Class
Collaborate with The National Ballet School’s female diploma students to hone partnering techniques, a crucial skill for every male dancer.
Course Fees
Boys Only Technique Class 9am – 10:30am Class Fee $25 per week
Male Variations Class 10:45am – 11:45am Class Fee $25 per week
Partnering Ballet Class 12:30pm – 2:00pm Class Fee $25 per week
BOOK ALL THREE CLASSES FOR ONLY $50 per week

Damian Smith brings with him more than 25 years international experience as a guest artist with companies such as the Boston Ballet, Dutch National Ballet, Hong Kong Ballet, Hamburg Ballet, Ballet Du Nord, New York City Ballet and 18 years as Principal Dancer with the highly acclaimed San Francisco Ballet.
He has been chosen more than 20 times to be the original cast for some of the world’s best choreographers, including Christopher Wheeldon, Wayne McGregor, Alexei Ratmansky and Nacho Duato, and worked with them on the creation of their new ballets.
Beginning his dance training in Newcastle with the Robyn Hick School of Dance and the Marie Walton Dance Academy, Damian completed his studies at the MacDonald College before being accepted into the prestigious School of American Ballet in New York at just 16 years old.
