2026 On Stage Summer School

Over six busy days, students will work under the expert guidance of The National Ballet School’s Artistic Director, Damian Smith, to create and perform three distinct works on the heritage-listed stage of The National Theatre.

From concept to choreography, technique to stagecraft, students of all ages will gain real-world experience in what it takes to be a versatile, stage-ready performer.

This intensive is all about fun and performance! At the end of the week, students will showcase what they’ve learned with a performance for family and friends featuring full costumes, props and lighting on our historic stage.
